Do you suspect infidelity? Do you want to end those gnawing suspicions and find out whether your partner is really cheating on you? International Biosciences offers infidelity DNA testing – a scientific test that can help you draw conclusions about your partner’s fidelity.
An infidelity test begins with a simple DNA sample – our clients send us an item which they believe to contain traces of DNA. From this item we can extract the DNA and provide our clients with certain telling results.
What Information Can Your Infidelity Test Give Me?
International Biosciences offers two different infidelity testing options.
Our first option is a DNA test that will confirm the gender of the sample in a type of test we call a multiple gender profile test. Our laboratory analysis will tell you whether the DNA sample you sent to our lab contains a male DNA profile or female DNA profile – and this is not all! Our advanced DNA testing technology even make it possible to establish whether there is a mixed profile – in other words, if more than 1 person’s DNA is present in the sample we will confirm this. The cost for testing 1 DNA sample is $600.
Our second DNA testing option is a comparison DNA test. What we need in this case is another DNA sample, collected by means of a mouth swab*, which we can compare against the DNA profile or profiles obtained in the multiple gender profile test. With this comparison test, International Biosciences can tell you whether the two samples belong to the same person or to different people.
*International Biosciences will provide you with sample collection kit which contains the swabs, instructions, consent forms and pre-addressed envelope to return your DNA sample.
Types of Samples We Can Test
For infidelity testing, we can test a vast range of samples including semen stains, blood stains, soiled undergarments, cigarette ends and toothbrushes. Our customer service team are at your full disposal to guide you and provide a full evaluation of the sample you plan to use. We will tell you how to collect, package and send your samples.
Here are some basic guidelines on handling samples for your infidelity DNA test that will help maximise the chances of successful extraction of DNA:
• Always avoid touching the DNA sample with your fingers. If this is not possible, use your finger tips and keep contact with the sample to a minimum. Where possible use tweezers.
• Allow any sample to air dry
• Store samples in a paper envelope and avoid keeping samples for too long. The sooner they are tested, the higher the chances of successful DNA extraction.
It is important to understand that some samples are better than others and we must take into consideration factors like the age of sample and whether it has been in any way contaminated or degraded.
Our laboratory’s cutting-edge biochemical technology makes it possible for International Biosciences to extract your DNA from even the most challenging samples. Why not view our full list of forensic DNA testing services to understand more about the different types of samples that can be used?
